Dälek s'est souvent posé en tant que dernier rempart empêchant la médiocrité d'envahir le hip-hop : à ce titre, Endangered Philosophies est un manifeste qui confirmera encore cette ambition. Mais j'ai aussi l'impression que cette philosophie menacée et en voie de disparition s'applique involontairement à la musique de Dälek. Le groupe de New Jersey a toujours des choses à dire mais le chant n'est pas mis en valeur comme il le faudrait ; ce sont les instrus (excellentes) qui ont le premier rôle.
